Ulrich Intermediate school requested Triggers Cricket Club to conduct an one day introduction to Cricket for the Sixth grade students. Sushil Nadkarni, Manas Dasaraju, Nanda Kumar conducted this program along with teacher Mr. John Wilson. On behalf of Cricket community thanks to Mr. John Wilson to facilitate this in a practical way by preparing the kids with theortical sessions and Cricket video displays. Mr. Wilson is one of the avid cricket follower who has very interesting collections of cricket game in his classroom. One of them is book from eighteenth century on cricket.
This session covered almost 180 students who really enjoyed learning and applying the basic techniques of the game. They showed great interest and raised sincere questions covering various aspects of cricket. They all are excited to meet Team USA Vice-Captain Sushil Nadkarni. Towards end of each session they are all ready to play game but have to stop with practices due to time limitation.

We left the school with lot of positive feedback and request to Mr. Wilson to start an after school club program for cricket where TCC members can help to run this. It is glad to know that he already have twenty students signed for it and hope to start an after school club in near future. Kits for this program were sponsored by Central West Cricket region through ICC Development program.
