Fayyaz Sarwar President, HCL has graced the prize distribution of TCC Tapped Ball Tournament at Matzke Park on Saturday 4th Oct 2008. Cougars XI def NWCC XI by 5 wks to win the championship and Fayyaz gave away the awards to the finalist teams.

          On the occasion Fayyaz Sarwar was recognized by TCC for his outstanding service to Houston Cricket League. TCC lauded Fayyaz role in hosting Western Conference, Promoting Houston talent to CW and most importantly for acquiring 3 more new grounds for HCL. Speaking on the occasion Fayyaz spoke of his future plans to improve cricket in Houston and requested sizable audience to do their part by bettering their skills. Venky Rao handed over the plaque to Fayyaz, Surya Saladi, Anand Sampath and Nanda Kumar from TCC spoke on this occasion.
